I’ve come up with a cool idea! Actually, it’s turning out to be a bit of a hit with the family.

We have 4 adult members living in our house…there’s Selwyn and myself, my son Trent and his girlfriend, Cassi.

I believe in all of us pulling our weight with the chores around the house, one being preparing the evening meal.

Now, both Trent and Cassi need to learn, so I have devised a method that will teach them and give them experience, in a fun way.

First, I cut out some different coloured cards, and I’ve written on them in pencil the following:

Pink – protein such as steak, chicken, turkey etc etc.
Yellow – carbs such as pasta, rice, potatoes etc.
Green – The various greens such as beans, peas, cabbage, salad etc.
Orange -Pumpkin, Corn, Sweet Potato etc
White – Extras such as Cauliflower, Cucumber etc
Blue – Sauces like Cheese Sauce, Coconut Cream etc

and finally, another set with each containing each of our names.

While we are eating a meal, we shuffle up the cards taking one from each pile. This gives a very interesting variety of foods which is different every meal. This is a great way also to teach them how to cook balanced meals which I found was fairly lacking before.

The idea is then for the person who’s name came up to work out a meal using those ingredients.

Obviously, we only use names of the cards according to what we have in the pantry and fridge that week.

It’s amazing how each of us looks forward to what is going to be cooked up that night. We all know in advance what the ingredients are!

This really appeals especially to Trent as he loves the fun side of it… goes along with his nature.

Today was the day my Egyptian doctor friend, Goweid, had to sit for an important Fellowship exam. I sent him a text message to wish him well yesterday, and I’ve been thinking about it all day long.

I haven’t heard from him, so I don’t know how he feels he went. I told him I believed he would do well because I know he’s so clever. I really mean that! He worked as a surgeon in Egypt for 17 or 18 years, but when he migrated to Australia he had to sit all his medical exams all over again!

I’m sure all this extra study has been very beneficial to him, but my goodness, how many doctors have to achieve twice over?

I’m as proud as punch of his achievements, but I know it costs him dearly, especially when he has a young family.

It also takes a lot of “thinking”! We want the matrix to be so attractive that NO-ONE would want to drop out. That would take care of all our incomes we’ve worked so hard to achieve.

We’ve got some pretty cool ideas… but I won’t mention them here right now.

Hey, if you are wondering what is taking up my time so much, go here and have a look:
http://www.marilyn-williams.com/clubhouse/launch

I said to myself, time for a change, as I understand how much our diet affects our health.

Today I’ve been drinking water and lemon juice; eating almonds, an apple, and slowly chewed on an apple.

I believe ginger and Apple Cider Vinegar are also good to alkalinise your body.

Now I’m feeling great… but the thing is to prevent it happening again. I definitely will be more careful, as that was not a nice night.

What a busy day I’ve had today! I’ve been creating charts and blogs in readiness for our Massive Team Build we are hoping to start in about 4 weeks time.

It’s all the thought you had to put into something like this. I don’t know where I’d be without my little exercise books I keep beside the computer. In here I put all my thoughts and plans. I find it so much easier than putting on a page in Word for example. Somehow the books allow me to think more clearly, and of-course I can take it away from the computer which helps me to “think”!

This Massive Team Build has a 3 in 1 twist, including 1) 3 residual matrices, 2) investments and 3) a unique style of team build that’s certainly never been done before.

Thus, all the planning, and charts, and blogs…etc.

Haha, I love it really – can’t wait to get it off the ground.

Wednesday! This means it’s Webinar Day!

Each Wednesday we hold 3 Webinars for Cascading Wealth Creation. Each one lasts for one hour, with the first one starting at 8am my time.

These days, as winter draws ever closer, I tend to roll out of bed about 7.15am, boot up the computer and get ready for the start.

If there are any new members there, and there generally are, I do a presentation which lasts for approximately 1/2 an hour. By the end of it, I’ve explained the whole concept so people get a pretty good idea.

The next one is at 12 midday my time. Most times I have another lady from the states, Lynn Ferguson, present that one for me, and Mike follows on after that.

Finally, 8.30pm that night sees me doing the last presentation.

Each Webinar is designed to attract members from different parts of the world, which is a lot of fun.

By the end of it I’m usually “talked out” and ready for a good night’s rest.

If you are curious as to what I’m presenting, you can view it here: Cascading Wealth Creation Presentation

Yesterday was a very special day in Australia. It’s known as Anzac Day – a national day of remembrance. Basically, it’s to honour the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) when they fought at Gallipoli in Turkey. That was back in World War One, 1915. Anzac Day doesn’t stop just there though, as it’s used to commemorate all our brave men who lost their lives in wars over the years and to salute those that remain for a job well done.

One of the little special things we do on ANZAC Day is to make biscuits called ANZAC Biscuits. Basically they’re made out of Rolled Oats, and yummy!

It was a very wet day, so it was indoors for me. I completed setting up my 3 blogs so now they only need to be posted to as I get the time.

Before I went to bed I had to knuckle down and pay out the qualifieds (my daily job) in Cascading Wealth Creation.

Finally into bed to go off into lala land to the sound of the rain still pouring.

It’s Easter Sunday, and our household is very quiet. That’s because Selwyn (my husband) had to work over the Easter period, and my son, Trent, and his girlfriend, Cassie, have been in and out doing “fun stuff”!

So, apart from the other things that have occupied my time, I decided to add another blog called Egypt. Wow, I found a fantastic theme too! So far, I’ve added one of my websites abut the day we visited the pyramids. Would you like to take a look? Cool, I’m glad you said “Yes!”

Click on the image and you’ll go to my Egyptian Blog and from there you can enjoy our day when we visited the Pyramids.
